The Hazel Park Police Department is committed to citizen and group involvement in helping to keep our community safe. The following are programs available to the public to become more involved:

The Hazel Park Auxiliary Police Unit
 Members Login
This is a non-sworn volunteer police unit whose members supplement Hazel Park Police officers at special events, emergencies, disasters or other assignments as determined by the Chief of Police. 


Mobile Communication Support Unit (MCSU)
This is a uniformed civilian volunteer group dedicated to safe streets and neighborhoods. Members do not possess police powers or authority.
